SUMMARY:Wine with Winnie - Painting with a Pig
DESCRIPTION:While Winnie\, our pot-bellied pig\, is no Pigcasso he is a master of the finer things\, like whining. Join us for a fun filled afternoon of sampling One Hope Wine and painting. \nA complementary Grateful Meadows wine glass will be your canvas for the afternoon. \nTickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. If the weather’s nice we’ll take our palettes to the great outdoors for some added inspiration. \nWe’ll kickoff this party with a sanctuary tour from 2:15pm- 3:00pm where you’ll have a chance to meet the newest members of our Grateful Meadows crew including Lucia the roo and Marley & Archer the donkeys. \nFollowing the tour\, we’ll sample some wine whilst Winnie whines of course! Wine’s provided by One Hope Wine. For every bottle you purchase during the event 10% of the proceeds will go to our sanctuary. \nAfter the sampling session we paint! We’ll provide the wine glasses and complementary whining.  Your canvas will be a stemless Grateful Meadows wine glass to take home and cherish. \nAll guests must be 21 and up for this event. No need to be a whino or even a wine drinker. If you’re a Sober Sally we’ve got you covered. Complementary fresh pressed juices will be available for sipp’n too. \nAll proceeded go to Grateful Meadows Sanctuary 501(C)(3) helping us help animals.

DESCRIPTION:Ohh yeah! We’ve got another volunteer opportunity for ya! \nGrateful Meadows Retreat & Sanctuary recently rescued a rooster and needs your help making his life a #sanctuarylife. We’ve got a coop and run but need help painting\, staining\, and assembling it. \nWe’re also working with a local equine rescue that has two donkey sisters who are looking for their forever home. They were rescued from a kill lot and with your help will be our newest residents! But before Grateful Meadows can adopt them we need to finish up a few things. On Sunday\, we’ll also paint and stain the run-in (the barn the donkeys will live in) as well as put up the trim and interior wall in the run-in. \nThis will be a low key volunteer event so come anytime on Sunday that works for you. We’ll provide lunch and you’re more than welcome to bring a vegan dish to share! \nIf you can’t volunteer but would like to donate by buying paint\, stain\, materials\, or food for the event we would love that too!
