In the summer of 2017 we bought our dream property and began transforming it into Grateful Meadows: a non-profit animal sanctuary and boutique plant-based retreat. While staying with us you can meet our sanctuary residents: Winnie the piggie, Baelyn the pup, Lucia the rooster, and our two newest rescues, donkeys!
Our home is a vegan’s wooded wonderland. From the shampoos to the bedding, your stay with us will be cruelty-free. We also try to use locally made and organic products whenever possible. The guest bedroom offers privacy on the second floor with a private bathroom and two locally made Cozy Pure queen mattresses.
While staying at Grateful Meadows not only are you welcome to meet our resident pot belly pig but we also have a salt water pool to jump into after a fun day’s activities. And booking is easy! Either make a reservation conveniently and securely online via AirBnB or by booking a private event.
We encourage you to relax and refresh in our pool and hot tub, and enjoy social time in the living room, game room, lounge, kitchen, and outdoor areas.
Interaction with Guests
We’ll greet you once you arrive and show you around the property. If you have any questions or need suggestions while staying with us we’re more then happy to help. However, we will respect your privacy.
Other things to note
You do not need to be vegan to book a stay with us but we do ask that out of respect to our residence, our planet, and yourself that you do NOT bring animal products with you.
PET POLICY: Sadly, we do not allow companion animals at this time. *Once the tree houses are build (spring 2018) then we’ll most likely allow companion animals at Grateful Meadows.
